Last year I headed over to Switzerland and France with SBC skier magazine. It’s the same trip that I shot this cover of Matt Margetts on but this winter the magazine also published a feature story on the rest of the trip. We had a really tough time with the snow conditions on this trip, every day the temperatures were well above zero, proper spring skiing which is not really what we had in mind. That was the story of the whole season though in Europe so we made the most of the tricky conditions and searched for some nice backdrops and some fun. On one of the days we actually took the day off skiing and took the train up to the top of the Eiger which is one of the most memorable things that I have ever done. Simply stunning. For the majority of the trip we stayed in Wengen, with views of the Eiger and a stunning old hotel as our base we felt privileged to have the chance to explore that place. It is definitely on my list to get back to when the snow is better. Many thanks to the Swiss Tourist Board for their help and big thanks to the friendly staff and owners of the Hotel Regina.
